How to Fancy Up a Mason Jar With Glitter

What you’ll need:
*Spray Glue
*Glitter in glitter shakers                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    *Stick-on Gems
*Trash bag (to keep your work area clean!)
*Paper plate to catch excess glitter (If your glitter shaker has really big holes)

Use your spray glue (I use Elmers Multi-Purpose- it only costs around $4.00) to spray the jar. You can either do it in sections like I did, or one coat all the way around if you are going to use one color of glitter.
It will be a little splotchy at first, but don’t worry. You can always go back later and do touch-ups.
Once you’ve got on all your colors, let the glue dry. It will take anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour to completely dry, based on how much glue you used.
If you want to add jewels to the jar, go ahead! I put them on along the line of the pink and green.
You can’t see them too well in the picture, but they’re there! They make the line look a lot more clean-cut. (This is especially helpful if you free-handed the glitter, rather than using tape to make the line exactly even.)  So that’s it! It’s really simple, and you can do them in any combination of colors. It’s a fun way to spiff up a boring old jar and use it as a pretty pencil or change jar!
